Account & Billing

Introduction

Edukliks provides free access to its core services. However, certain premium features or services, such as assistance with university applications, visa processing, and hostel arrangements, may require payment. This section outlines Edukliks' account and billing practices, including the conditions for refunds.

Account Creation:

1.1. Users are required to provide accurate and complete personal details during account creation. This ensures that our services can be properly rendered.

1.2. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. Any actions performed through your account, whether by you or another party using your credentials, are your responsibility. Edukliks is not liable for unauthorized access due to negligence in safeguarding your account information.

Billing & Payments:

2.1. If Edukliks introduces paid services (such as university application support, visa assistance, or accommodation arrangements), billing information will be required before the commencement of these services.

2.2. Payments for premium services will be securely processed through our payment gateway, which complies with EU data protection laws and PCI DSS standards. Payment methods may include credit/debit cards, bank transfers, or other secure options.

Refund Policy:

Edukliks strives to offer transparency regarding its refund policy for paid services. Below are the conditions under which refunds may or may not apply, depending on the nature of the service:

3.1 Non-Refundable Services:

Certain services begin immediately upon payment, and as such, are non-refundable. This includes, but is not limited to:

University Application Process: Once payment for university applications has been made and we have begun processing the application (i.e., document submission, correspondence with the university, etc.), this service is non-refundable.

Visa Processing: Payments for visa assistance are also non-refundable once Edukliks has begun the visa application process, as administrative costs are incurred immediately.

3.2 Refundable Services (Under Specific Conditions):

Refunds will be offered for certain services if they have not yet commenced. This includes:

Hostel or Accommodation Arrangements: If we have not yet begun contacting hostels or booking accommodation, and no financial commitments have been made, you are eligible for a refund.

Other Premium Services: Any other services for which Edukliks has not yet started work can be refunded upon request.

3.3 Refund Request Process:

Timeline for Refund Requests: Refund requests must be submitted within 14 days of the payment date.

Case-by-Case Evaluation: Each refund request will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Factors such as the commencement of the service and any third-party fees will be taken into consideration.

Refund Method: If a refund is approved, it will be processed through the same method used for payment (credit card, bank transfer, etc.). Depending on the payment provider, refunds may take up to 10 business days to be credited back to your account.

Account Termination:

4.1. Edukliks Rights: Edukliks reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate any of the platform’s policies, including but not limited to misrepresentation of personal details, misuse of the platform, or failure to comply with payment obligations.

4.2. User-Initiated Termination: Users may cancel their accounts at any time by contacting Edukliks support. If you have an active paid subscription, no further billing will occur after cancellation. However, payments made for services already rendered or commenced will not be refunded, as per our refund policy.

Additional Notes:

5.1. Communication of Refund Decisions: Users will be informed of the outcome of their refund requests within 7 business days after submitting their request.

5.2. Third-Party Costs: In some cases, external costs (e.g., university fees, embassy fees) may be non-refundable regardless of Edukliks’ refund policy. These fees will be disclosed before payment.
