The Department of Accounting under the College of Business Management and Accounting, Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah Campus, offers an innovative accountancy programme leading to the award of the Bachelor of Accounting (Honours) degree. The programme offers specific knowledge of accounting, finance, quantitative analysis, economics, computing, management, English and marketing courses and their application in the accounting field out in the market. The programme aims to produce competent and dedicated accountants who exhibit traits such as professionalism, discipline, and high moral standards. This programme is specifically designed to prepare students with strong knowledge in accounting field before they get into the real world of accounting professions or pursue their studies to obtain a Masters\\\' degree in accounting or in other business related postgraduates programmes.

Graduates of the Bachelor of Accounting (Hons.) programme will be well poised for immediate employment upon graduation where they have a wide choice of career opportunities in the field of accounting management. Other than becoming accountants, graduates have the following career options such as: Auditor, Financial controller, Tax consultant, Finance manager, Accounts or finance executive, Corporate executive, Academics. Recognising the importance of life-long learning, graduates that meet certain criteria are eligible to pursue their studies in professional courses and/or the Masters' degree in accounting or other business related postgraduates programmes.

IELTS 6 & TOEFL 550 or; Cambridge English (Advance CAE) or; Cambridge English Proficiency (CPE) or; Pearson Test of English (PTE) Academic or; Applicant from countries using English as an official medium of communication or; Applicant from an academic institution using English as a medium of instruction.
